Tultitlán and in 2008 acquires 49% of Mexican Steel company Corsa Controladora forming Gerdau Corsa. At the end of 2013 Gerdau Corsa started the construction of their newest steel plant capable of producing an estimated 1,000 metric tons of steel per year focusing in long steel products.

Durosa which had successfully finalize Deacero 3M project in Ramos Arizpe, Nuevo Leon was invited with recommendation of the globally recognized engineering firm Danielli to participate in the complete fabrication and eretion of the Fume Exhaust System. Due to Durosa’s great progress the company had also the opportunity to help in the erection of the Srcap Metal Warehouse, and other process equipment.
